    From any Metro or Central Train Station


    1. Take the Metro to Berri UQAM station (main Metro hub in the city). For more fare information please see all the STM transit rates.

    2. When departing the station take the "St-Catherine" street exit.

    3. As you come out to the street, turn left and walk until the third traffic light, which is "St-Andre".

    4. Turn right on St-Andre and walk one block until 1245 St-Andre.

    From Central Bus Station


    1. Upon arriving at the bus station take exit Berri street.

    2. As you come out to the street, turn left and walk until the first traffic light, which is Boulevard de Maisonneuve.

    3. Turn left on Boulevard de Maisonneuve and walk until the second traffic light, which is St-Andre.

    4. Turn right on St-Andre and walk until 1245 St-Andre.

    From Megabus Station

    Departures & Arrivals will take place outside 997 St-Antoine West. The Montreal stop is located on the south end of Le 1000 de La Gauchetiere building (Metro Bonaventure).


    1. Upon arriving at the bus station enter the 1000 de La Gauchetiere building

    Follow the signs to Metro Bonaventure. For more fare information please see all the STM transit rates.

    2. When departing the station take the "St-Catherine" street exit.

    3. As you come out to the street, turn left and walk until the third traffic light, which is "St-Andre".

    4. Turn right on St-Andre and walk one block until 1245 St-Andre.

    • What time is check-in and check out?

      • Check-in: Starts at 3 PM
      • Check-out: By 11 AM
      • Late check-out is available until 1 PM for an additional fee. Please purchase in advance.
      • Early check-out before 11 AM is welcome if needed. 

    • Do you offer parking?

      • Underground parking: Available exclusively for guests on a first-come, first-served basis
      • Cost: $25 + tax
      • If our parking is full, our receptionists will be happy to direct you to nearby parking options!

    • What are the rooftop hours?

      Our rooftop terrace opens at 8 AM and closes at 11 PM.

    • Will the jacuzzis be open when I visit?

      Our aim is to keep our jacuzzis open every day, year-round! However, they may occasionally close due to maintenance, safety, or weather conditions.

    • What should I do if I’m sick and unable to come to M Montreal?

      No problem, we understand! Here's what to do:

      • If you're within the 48-hour cancellation window: Contact us by phone or email, and we'll cancel your reservation for you.
      • If you don't contact us within 48 hours of your check-in time: A cancellation charge equal to the first night's stay will apply.

    • Is breakfast available? What are the serving hours?

      We offer a grab-and-go breakfast each morning for a fee. Be sure to reserve it at check-in to guarantee availability.








    • Can we leave our luggage at the hostel?

      Here's how our luggage storage works:

      • During your stay, including your arrival and departure date: Free access to our luggage room for storage.
      • If you’re leaving for a few days to visit another city: Storage is available at $3 per bag, per day.






    • Can I reserve the bottom bunk?

      Our policy is "first come, first served"—and don't forget, the top bunk is pretty awesome too!


    • Are you far from the Old Port?

      The Old Port is just a 15-minute walk from M Montreal, making it easy to explore this historic and scenic area!

    • How can I explore Montreal?

      We provide free city maps at the reception to help you navigate Montreal. Looking for recommendations or hidden gems? Our amazing staff is always ready to assist! Plus, we host free Montreal walks every week, showcasing cool neighborhoods, festivals, and more!

    • What payment methods do you accept?

      • We accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover) for payments. 
      • Please note that a mandatory security deposit is required, and this can only be processed on a credit card.

    • How to get to the hostel from the airport?

      The most affordable option is the 747 bus, which costs $11 in cash. For the quickest route, a taxi is your best choice, with an approximate fare of $49.

    • Can I bring my 24-pack to the jacuzzi?

      No, you can’t. Since we have an alcohol license, bringing your alcohol from outside isn’t permitted. However, our bar is open every day from 7 PM, so you can enjoy a drink there instead!

    • Can I smoke cigarettes at M Montreal?

      Yes, smoking is allowed only in designated areas. Smoking in non-designated areas is strictly prohibited, and a cleaning fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found on the property.

    • Can I bring a friend into my room?

      Only registered guests are allowed in the room.

    • Can I bring a friend to the M Bar?

      Absolutely! The bar is open to everyone!
